Dena’s yoga journey began seven years ago when she was introduced to yoga as a tool to find more calm and quiet in her life. Challenged by the asanas (poses) and intrigued by the positive impacts of regular yoga practice on her mind and body, she continued to further her practice by exploring various styles of yoga at different studios across GTA. Graduated from a 250 hours YTT program, trained in Ashtanga and Hatha, Dena’s class covers a wide range of standing, balancing, seated and supine postures. Dena offers modifications and hands on adjustments throughout her class, making sure that the sequence is accessible to students from all levels of practice. Dena believes that every “body” has a story to tell and Yoga is a great narration of individual stories.
